Disable Third-party Software
Software applications that are active during installation
can cause errors, installation difficulties,
abort the installation or prevent services from starting. You can prevent the
application's services from starting through 'System Configuration Utility'
(also referred to as 'msconfig').
See
your applications' documentation for instructions on how to disable its
services.
If you
are unable to locate the documentation, disable the startup items in the
Windows 'System Configuration Utility'. (Click
here
for instructions to open and modify System Configuration Utility.)
If
disabling startup items in 'msconfig' does not correct the issue, disable all
non-Microsoft related services in the 'Services' tab of 'System Configuration
Utility' window.
After
disabling non-Microsoft services, restart Windows. See More ( )
