Canon MP230 error code 5100

This error generally known as Service call error or error code 5100 indicates Carriage error and fine cartridge holder isinterrupted in your canon mp230 printer.

When the message "Printer error has occurred 5100" is displayed, the behavior of the FINE cartridge holder isinterrupted

Please follow these instructions:

Check jammed paper or foreign material

Did you install the FINE cartridge holder properly?

If the problem persists, contact the canon service center for repair.

Is there a jammed paper or foreign material inside the printer?

Stop printing, and then push the power button of the printer to turn OFF the printer.

Open the paper output cover of the printer, and if you find a jammed paper or foreign material is inside the printer, remove it. Paper Jams 

After checking the above items, push the power button to turn ON the printer again.

When removing the jammed paper or foreign material, take extra care so that you do not touch the inner parts. Or, it may cause another printing problem.
