Since its working sporadically, I’m wondering if it is set up to use the
correct port. I’ve seen some cases where when it uses a built in port for
WSD it will print erratically, but when we switch it over to the dedicated
Canon port everything works fine. Let's try the following:
1. Click Start.
2. Click Control Panel.
3. Click Hardware and Sound.
4. Click Devices and Printers.
5. Right click the PIXMA MX892 Printer and click Printer Properties.
6. Click the Ports tab.
7. Make sure that the checkmark is on the port that starts with CNBJNP, then click OK and try to print. Read More
