Precautionsabout printing images
This section explains what to check when the printer is correctly connected to the camera and the camera is direct print-compatible, but there are images that cannot be printed.
Images taken with a different camera from
the one connected to the printer
Images recorded in formats other than JPEG
(e.g. RAW format)
Images that have been imported and altered
by a computer
These messages also appear when making DPOF*
settings for such images.
DPOF is a standard for recording information on memory cards about which images and what quantity of images to print. In situations like these, refer to your Camera User Guide to check whether the image size matches the pixel capacity of the camera now connected. If the sizes are different, import the images to your computer, and then connect the printer to the computer to print them.
